Halloween! Is there anyone else who hasn’t heard about this terrific holiday? It’s no use denying that it won the hearts of people around the globe ages ago. Halloween origins steep in pagan times when the Celts took part in Druidic rituals to scare off the dead who had stepped foot on the land of the living. We have similar holidays which date back to the ancient times too: Kupala Night, Kolyada etc. No wonder, then, that the Russians enjoy Halloween that badly. But how do we usually celebrate it? In this article we will do our best to show you several events devoted to the celebration of this delightful event.
