Artemisia Gentileschi is a great Italian, whose biography is the embodiment of the struggle of a woman for the right to be an artist in the 17th century.

The Pushkin Museum invites you to take a look at the three masterpieces of the first quarter of the seventeenth century from the collection of the Capodimonte Museum – Judith, decapitating Holofernes by Artemisia Gentileschi, the Angel by Simon Vouet and Saint Agatha by Francesco Gvarino. Complement the exhibition canvases Guido Reni, Gverchino and Simone Kantarini from the collection of the Pushkin Museum.
